NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) Component

Course Price: $75
Course Times: 6 hours
Course Designer: NRA and David S. Jenkins

The Basic Instructor Training component is the first step for new instructors to the NRA Training curriculum. All new instructor candidates must attend the Basic Instructor Training, or BIT before participating in any of the subject modules (Pistol Instructor, Rifle Instructor, etc) Also, if you have not upgraded or added any new ratings or taught an NRA class in orver a year, you should attend a BIT session to refresh yourself. The BIT is a 6 hour class that will teach you about the methodology of instructing new students in the NRA curriculum. You will participate in multiple role playing and presentation exercises and you will receive critique and feedback to help you improve and learn.

We can schedule the BIT training separately or in conjunction with the specific module training that you prefer.
