Krav Maga is a self defense system that was developed in Israel in the mid 1930s by a man named Imi Lichtenfeld. His goal was to create a simple and effective method of self defense that could be applied to real life situations. The techniques in Krav Maga were created using a blend of different art forms, among which include; boxing, Muay Thai, Jui-Jitsu, wrestling and grappling techniques. The philosophy of Krav Maga emphasizes threat neutralization, simultaneous defensive and offensive maneuvers, and aggression. Krav Maga is a simple and effective style of defense training that works for all ages and abilities.
